Rock, also known as Mega Man, is the main protagonist of the Mega Man series. He appeared in the 55th episode of Death Battle, Mega Man VS Astro Boy, where he fought against Astro Boy from the Astro Boy series. He returned for the 105th episode, Mega Man Battle Royale, where he fought against fellow Mega Men Mega Man X, MegaMan Volnutt, MegaMan.EXE, and Star Force Mega Man.
History
Rock was a young robot created by the genius Doctor Thomas Light to act as his surrogate son. However, the robot boy soon went and took a stand for Light after the sinister Doctor Wily hijacked his creator's Robot Masters in an attempt to take over the world. To combat the corrupt machines, Rock was upgraded from a lowly household robot and transformed into a super fighting robot. It was on that day that "Mega Man" was born, swearing to defend the planet, take down any corrupt Robot Masters, and thwart Wily's schemes time and time again.
